From September 16 to October 12, Moody Street businesses host the work of Waltham artists.

Enjoy downtown Waltham and the Moody Street pedestrian zone where seven business windows feature the art of Waltham artists. Click here to open the Google map.

On October 2 at noon, you can meet the artists and tour all seven of the windows. Meet at the Tea Leaf, 487 Moody Street. In case of rain, the tour will be October 9. Sign up here to get notifications of rain postponement. Don’t forget to swing by the Lincoln Arts Project (289 Moody Street) to see “Creating in Place: Artists of Lincoln Studios” and stop by Monique Rancourt’s gallery to discover more local art.

During the 2020 Open Studios panel discussion on Building Creative Community in Waltham,  the idea of an art window walk was one of many bantered about. Combine this is idea with the City’s decision to keep a section of Moody Street Open to pedestrians,  and with the support of the Waltham Cultural Council, an art walk was born.

This summer, Waltham artists, the Waltham Mills Artist Association and Watch City Arts moved into action.  Stroll  Moody Street for this special occasion now through October 12.

The Businesses:

Margaritas, 211 Moody Street

Mattress Firm, 309 Moody Street

Marcou Jewelers, 318 Moody Street

Gourmet Pottery, 365 Moody Street

376 Dental Studio, 376 Moody Street

Waltham Vision Care, 381 Moody Street

Tea Leaf, 487 Moody Street
