“My artistic experiments started with oil painting. I love the brilliance, liveliness, and luminosity of this medium. I was lucky to learn oil techniques from my mentor John Tarzian, an incredible Somerville-based artist. Although still fond of oils, I recently stepped out of the usual and started exploring other media, such as acrylics, oil pastels, and inks.

I see art as an essential part of life that brings joy and vibrance. For me, painting is self-exploration, a way to observe a materialization of the subconscious through the artistic media. It is a form of self-reflection and at the same time a conversation with the outer world. How many questions can be asked in a painting and how many can be answered?”
