Kelley Harwood

Kelley finished her MFA in Painting from Boston University in 2020. Working from observation and photographic record, she incorporates still life and figures into charcoal drawings. She is interested in how the weight of perceived shadows and gravity can combine with perceptual light and the appearance of figures that are no longer here. Ideas of time, absence and presence are in her work.
