Myk Ostrowski is a multidisciplinary artist and photographer whose work explores perception, scale, and the space between what is recognizable and what remains abstract. With a background spanning film and television, photography, art handling, and installation, his practice is shaped by an awareness of composition, material, light, and environment.

As a photographer, Myk works in portraiture, nature, and fine art photography, drawn to details and moments that can easily go unnoticed. His photography and painting share a curiosity about how framing, scale, light, and perspective can transform the familiar.

His paintings often move between the macro and the micro, evoking landscapes, cellular structures, aerial views, or something just beyond recognition. He is particularly interested in the moment before an image becomes identifiable—the space between spaces, where perception is allowed to shift.

In his newest body of work, Myk introduces geometric forms painted with interference pigments over organic, expressive surfaces. As light and perspective change, these forms emerge and recede, creating an evolving relationship between the painting, the viewer, and their environment.

His artistic practice is also informed by his work as a Licenced Massage Therapist, Cerrtified Reiki Master, and Shamanic Energy Practitioner. Across these practices runs a shared curiosity about what exists beneath the surface, what can be felt without being seen, and how changing our perspective can change what we experience.
