What to do if something goes wrong
ARTIST PORTAL LOG IN INSTRUCTIONS
On the top right section of the home page, click on the tab that says “Artist Log In”
The following page will open:
Click on “sign up” to create your own account. The following page will open:
Fill in the requested info. Create a password. Then, click on the box declaring that you meet the participation criteria and type in the location of your studio.
Once you click sign up, you will need to wait until I approve your account to continue. This could take 24-48 hours, especially on weekends. Once your account is approved, you will receive an email.
It is important to note that this measure keeps the general public, including computer hackers, from being able to navigate the artist portal.
Once you receive approval, you will be able to sign into your account. This is where the fun begins! 😋
Once again click on the - on the top right.
When you get to this page again:
Go ahead and log in with your email and password. Congratulations, you now have an artist portal! 🥳
When you return to the home page, your name will now appear in the top right:
When you click on your name, a dropdown menu will appear:
Go ahead and peek around at the different pages available to you. 🤓
Some important things to note:

Account settings can only be seen by you and the website manager.

My Registration Status is a great way to check to make sure you are fully registered. It also lets you know when your registration status ends (will explain later)

You cannot Create/Update Your Artist Page unless you are registered for 2025 WOS.
REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
In the artist portal drop down menu, click on “Register for 2025 Open Studios”
Once you have read through the instructions, you can register for open studios.
PAY BY CHECK
If you would like to pay by check, please email us at wmaaopenstudios@gmail.com and we will send instructions.
REGISTER
Once you click the Register tab, you will arrive at a page that looks like this:
Please select the option that you would prefer.
If you select the WOS Registration w/Volunteer Hours, you will need to sign up for one of the volunteer committees before you can check out. Please make sure that you know what volunteer work you are signing up for before you register. There is an item in the artist portal called “Volunteering” that breaks down the different committee options.
Once you select your registration plan, you will be able to pay by Paypal (credit cards) or by mailing in a check (make sure to email us first for instructions).
Once you are registered for 2025, you will be able to create/update your artist page.
CREATING/UPDATING YOUR ARTIST PAGE
New Artists/Artists who do not have a page on the website right now should go to “Create/Update Artist Page and fill out all relevant information. Please make sure that you have at least one image included in this information before submitting.
Returning Artists who have a page from the 2024 WOS on the site should initially just fill in their name and studio location and click submit.
Once you have done this, please send me a quick email. I will transfer all of your info over from last year so you can just make changes. I will notify you when your page is fully populated. You will then be able to make edits and update your page as you see fit.
If you do not want any information transferred from your previous page, you are welcome to go ahead and create a new page from scratch.
Please note: If you do not have a website, FB page, or Instagram page, the system has automatically populated that field with the WOS pages.
WHAT TO DO IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Remember, new websites always have quirks that need to be handled. We will handle them!
Just send me a quick email with details about the problem. I will look at each and every problem submitted to me and let you know when it is resolved.
