Genevieve Cohn

I hope you’ll come and visit the studio I share with Caleb Colpitts on the fourth floor of Building 4. I paint communities of women. Drawing from the imagery and idealogies of the Women’s Land Army, female separatist communities, fairy tales and literary fiction, I acknowledge a world where female power is derived from collaboration, self-endowed agency and connection with the natural world. I will have new work in the studio, as well as works in progress for an upcoming solo exhibition. Hope to see you soon!
