I like to think of my paintings as unique ideas but when I see them together it’s clear there is a theme I’m not sure I know how to define. In my moth series I used the theme to experiment with texture on black watercolor which I have never used before. Learning is exciting and working on paper with acrylic gauche and layering pencil, and watercolor has inspired me. I am interested in painting aspects of life that are simple, over looked but fascinating.
